Get to Know the PlanOmatic Ordering Process

At PlanOmatic, our goal is to make the leasing photo ordering process easy and efficient. After you place your order online, we handle everything else. A local photographer will be sent to your property within 24 hours of scheduling, and we typically provide the photos back to you in under three days. Here’s how to monitor and understand your order status:

Step 1 – Order is Received 

Orders can be placed in three different ways: Adding an existing property to your cart, placing an individual order, or placing a bulk order. For more information on placing orders see our full article here.

Step 2 – Appointment Scheduled

Appointments are scheduled and coordinated within 24 hours of receiving your order. After scheduling, an appointment confirmation email will be sent to you.

If it has been longer than 24 hours and you haven’t received an appointment confirmation email, please email support@planomatic.com.

For orders that involve travel beyond our main service areas, scheduling may take additional time.

Step 3 – Appointment Completed

 

Our PlanOtechs arrive at the location and access the property using the specified entry method. They take photos using a DSLR or Mirrorless camera, equipped with a wide-angle lens and off-camera flash.

If a Zillow 3D tour is requested, it is captured with a Ricoh 360 camera and the Zillow 3D Home app.

When service permits, they upload the assets on-site and submit the task to our post-production team before proceeding to the next location.

Step 4 – Processing Assets 

Our post-processing team will take over once the PlanOtech submits the assets for processing. We review each photo to ensure it meets our composition, clarity, and lighting standards. Additionally, we review the Zillow tours and upload all the final assets to our client platform for delivery. 

Orders are typically in post-processing for one day. If it has been over 2.5 days and you have not received your ‘order is ready’ email, please contact support@planomatic.com. Occasionally, we experience delays with Zillow Tours processing or have to reschedule part of the order due to quality concerns. You will receive a new appointment confirmation email if an order is rescheduled. 

All PlanOmatic orders come with a suite of post-production editing services, including:

  • Enhancing exterior images with green grass
  • Adding blue skies to exterior shots
  • Removing camera, flash reflections, and lens dust
  • Straightening and cropping images as needed

 Extra charges may apply for any additional object removal or Photoshop work beyond these services. Your Client Success Manager (CSM) can provide further details.


Step 5 – Order Delivered

You will receive an 'order is ready' email containing a link to access the images in our customer portal and a Zillow share URL. Within the customer portal, you can download your images and floor plan files and access the Zillow tour link.

"Awaiting Reschedule" Status

If your initial appointment needs to be changed for any reason, such as internal scheduling conflicts, we will notify you via email that it needs to be rescheduled.

Our team is committed to minimizing scheduling delays on your end and will secure the earliest available appointment to revisit your property. Once the updated appointment time has been confirmed, a new appointment email will be sent out.

"Order Cancelled" Status

If you need to cancel your order, you can submit a cancellation request through your PlanOmatic account. Please note: If the cancellation is requested after 4pm on the day the order is placed, the order might incur a cancellation fee.
